Limulus Biology and Population Dynamics
2003 Horseshoe Crab Survey
Limulus is a keystone species in the Delaware Estuary. Currently the Bay and shelf populations are experiencing heavy fishery pressure due to the bait industry and a number of data sets indicate a strong population decline. The advisory service continues to support population studies as well as faculty research.
