Marine Operations
The Marine Operations Building and harbor located in Lewes, Delaware.
Marine Operations is located on the harbor in the Adrian S. Hooper Building at the College of Marine and Earth Studies' Lewes campus. The facility is named in honor of Adrian S. Hooper, chief executive officer of a major shipping firm who was an adviser and benefactor of the college. Mr. Hooper served as the first president of the Marine Associates, a non-profit corporation whose chartered purpose is to assist the college in developing one of the nation's leading marine programs.
