Ready or not, here comes Alvin, through the A-frame and into the sea with a plop, leaving those of us on deck wondering, "How does that feel?"

In this video, watch as Dr. Craig Cary enters Alvin for the first dive of Extreme 2004. Riding on top is Alvin technician Noel Masias, one of the swimmers for today's launch.
