The
following images were sent by Mr. Robert Hillenbrand, a teacher
at Mainland High School in Daytona Beach, Florida. Thanks for
keeping watch over the team at sea, Mainland High! Fortunately,
our Extreme team escaped the worst of Hurricane Kenna!
"The
attached images are from the weather satellite system we have
in our classroom at Mainland High School in Daytona Beach,"
he says. "Although the 'Abyss Team' is pretty far away from
us, the satellites occasionally allow us to see 'you' just at
the edge of some of the pictures. The first image is of Kenna
and your approximate location (Atlantis was just off
the picture). The second shows a later afternoon shot of your
dive area. Looks like you had some fairly heavy clouds in the
area, but infrared indicates some nice surface temperatures in
the low 80's."
