What is your role in Extreme 2002?

My role in Extreme 2002 is to set up and deploy experimental sampling apparatus designed to capture "bugs" (bacteria) on mineral surfaces and collect new vent chimneys. I am interested in designing new scientific sampling equipment for use with the submarine Alvin. I also design and build high-pressure lab equipment to mimic seafloor environments.
